Jonathan Yu
FOUNDER & BROKER, INITIA REAL ESTATE
Jonathan Yu is the founder and broker behind INITIA Real Estate, but more importantly, he’s the person asking a simple question: what if the brokerage model could truly work for agents, not the other way around? Introduced to real estate at a young age and licensed in 2010, Jonathan quickly saw both sides of the industry—the excitement of helping clients and the frustration of high fees, limited support, and a lack of real transparency.
INITIA was born from a bigger goal: create opportunities for agents that are fair, motivating, and genuinely game-changing. Launched in 2016, the brokerage was built to strip away hidden costs and confusing structures and replace them with clarity, support, and community. Jonathan’s vision is to give agents the freedom to keep more of what they earn, invest in their own brands, and access training, tools, and guidance for long-term sustainable success—all within a supportive and collaborative community.
