Introducing Katie, INITIA Elite Trainer What does that mindset of “doing things differently” mean to you? To me, doing things differently means never settling for “that’s just how real estate has always been done.” It’s about building systems that truly support agents and make their work easier. I try to lead by simplifying the complex parts of the job: offers, negotiations, listing prep, and compliance, so we can focus on what really matters. INITIA’s mindset reflects my own belief that agents deserve both independence and structure. For me, being different means choosing collaboration over competition, because we all grow faster when we grow together.
 What moment in your career taught you the most about resilience or reinvention? There’s constant growth and change in real estate, whether it’s adapting to shifting market trends, navigating the circumstances around a home sale, or learning how to strategize when listings don’t sell instantly. It’s all about working smarter and adjusting faster. I’ve learned to rely on data, stay consistent with follow-ups, and keep building relationships, because in a market where some homes take longer to sell, persistence really pays off.
 What motivates you personally to invest your time and energy into helping others succeed? I’m a second-generation Realtor, following in my grandfather’s footsteps, and I’ve seen firsthand that relationships always outlast transactions. Helping others succeed not only strengthens our local community but also raises the standard of service for everyone.
